It's the chance of a lifetime for the winner of The Face, the new modeling reality competition airing on Oxygen. Hosted by photographer Nigel Barker, the series spans seven episodes and follows the path of 12 contestants coached by supermodels Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coca Rocha — each vying for a shot to become the face of ULTA Beauty.
Viewers can expect to experience all the beauty, theatrics and cutthroat drama of the modeling world – and it's all made even more intense under the watchful eye of special guest mentors like photographer Patrick Demarchelier, talk show maven Wendy Williams and the New York Knicks' Amare Stoudemire. As 24 initial contestants arrive in New York for the first phase of the competition, the coaches whittle down the number to 12 lucky favorites, each of whom will be placed in one of three groups: Team Naomi, Team Karolina or Team Coco.

And that's when things really heat up. As the competition progresses, contestants square off against one another in challenges that are designed to gauge their ability to rule the modeling world – namely, high-pressure weekly test shoots and modeling campaigns helmed by delegates for big-name brands. Facing situations that range from walking the runway like a pro to sitting through a photo shoot without a stitch of makeup to deciphering a W magazine storyboard like an expert, nothing is left to chance in determining who is truly the best of the best.
Then, decision time: each brand delegate, together with special guest judges, will choose a winning team. The supermodel coaches of the remaining two teams must then select a member of their own respective teams for elimination. The supermodel coach of the winning team ultimately decides who will be sent home. In the end, only one will be left standing – and she'll be crowned the new spokesperson and brand ambassador for the Ulta Beauty Fall and Holiday 2013 national advertising campaigns.
It all premieres on TONIGHT, Tuesday, February 12 at 9/8c on Oxygen.
