Ever since it landed on newsstands back in 2009, Love Magazine has supported emerging talent — along with a healthy dose of nepotism. Throughout its 10-year history, cover stars have included the likes of Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber, Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian, Lily-Rose Depp, Hailey Baldwin, and Adwoa Aboah. The latest celebrity prodigy to land a cover is Maya Hawke, daughter of Uma Thurman (a past Love cover girl herself) and Ethan Hawke, who features on the newly unveiled Spring/Summer 2019 cover. The 20-year-old actress is concealed by a Marc Jacobs veil chosen by Katie Grand, while photographer Willy Vanderperre snaps away.
The cover did not impress the majority of our forum members. “Not (LOVE)ing this!” said GERGIN upon checking the cover out.
“She’s like a generic version of Ashley Good. She won’t make it. She’s as interesting as Lottie Moss,” remarked an underwhelmed GivenchyHomme.
“Who is she? Another ‘model’?” quizzed Scotty.

“Maya is extraordinarily beautiful, wouldn’t matter if she had celebrity parents or not,” HeatherAnne fired back.
KINGofVERSAILLES agreed: “Maya’s an actress, though she’s modeled before (she was in the Sofia Coppola directed Calvin Klein campaign) and she most certainly will make it.”
“Unlike most of the other celebrity kids, I do find her looks to be somehow captivating, so I don’t mind seeing her,” mistress_f. added.
Yet not everyone was here for it. “Terrible cover. Does nothing for me, and this magazine really is some insufferable nepotism playground,” complained Benn98.
“Every celebrity child needs to not worry about being something because it seems to me that they’re all going to end up on the cover of this magazine,” laughed Ken Doll Jenner.
One thing for sure, there’s bound to be more covers in the pipeline just waiting to drop any second. Wait them out and join the conversation here.
